How did ethnic Mexican migration into Northern Colorado change the spiritual landscape?
My name is Oscar Avila. I am a rising young professional driven by principles of
service, community, and education.
I created NoCo123 as a long-term public history and community project that interprets
Northern Colorado through accessible, local, and regional perspectives. This cyberspace manifests
my vision for radical transformations in the ways experts and members of the public relate to and communicate
with one another.
By exploring Northern Colorado through time, community, and environment, NoCo123 aims to
contribute to the democratization of learning and knowledge production alike. I hope that NoCo123 will
serve professionals, students, and neighbors while highlighting the interconnectedness of the region's shared
history, life, and sense of place.
While I establish the initial infrastructure and interface, this website will primarily hold my own work.
In time, however, I look forward to working with fellow neighbors, educators, and local voices to help transform this website
into a shared, accessible, digital home that can benefit members across our community.
